Mission Possible

I just came across an article regarding the humanitarian crisis in Sudan. The humanitarian situation in the Sudanese region of Darfur continues to deteriorate as recent fighting between government and rebel forces caused thousands of people to be displaced from their homes.

I have a dream of doing humanitarian work in underdeveloped countries such as in Africa. I always hope that i could contribute something to the world and to make the world for a better place to live. If i were given the opportunity to go to the underdeveloped countries, i would love to do that!

It's really sad and touching to look at the children in Africa starving for food. The children are supposed to be given a better food, home and education for their future. They also need nutrients. More than 350,000 children face severe malnutrition in the African country.



Also, not to be forgotten the Gaza crisis. Hunger is beginning to bite for children in Gaza. According to the research by the Danish government, more than one in three babies is anaemic, while nearly one in ten is malnourished. It is increasingly hard to find a place in school for the children as none have been built since the blockade began by the Israelis. Life is equally tough for their parents. 80 per cent of all Gazans are relying on the food aid.



I would love to go to Gaza to deliver the humanitarian aid for the people of Gaza. They urgently need food, medicine and basic needs, so in my opinion, the humanitarian aid from the flotilla aid ships should be allowed to enter Gaza. It's time to end the blockade. It's time to break the seige on Gaza.
